Question about LG Dryer Main Control Board - EBR36858801
Dryer will not do anything. Has power at outlet.
Almost all dryers have thermal protection in redundancy to prevent fires. This includes a thermostat, thermal fuse, and high limit switches, normally in the back of the dryer. Gas or electric. If any of these fail you wont run. But, if it is an electric dryer, you MUST have 220VAC at the outlet. 110VAC to ground on each leg dont cut it. if your qualified, measure between the two legs for 220.
