Reinstall the WiFi driver:
Lenovo Support Drivers Software US

Alternatively, you can Enable/Disable WiFi by opening:

You should see your WiFi connection listed. Right Click to Enable or Disable.

How do i switch to windows wireless configuration utility

If you are using Windows XP, Vista, or Server 2003, you have an option in how your wireless network card is managed. You can choose to use your manufacturer's Configuration Utility software, or you can use the configuration software built in to Windows.

If you wish to switch between your manufacturer's Wireless Configuration Utility and the Windows Wireless Zero Configuration service:

1. Go to Network Connections (from the left panel of My Network Places)
2. Right click on the icon for your wireless network card, and choose Properties
3. In the Properties dialog box, choose the middle "Wireless Networks" tab
4. Check or Uncheck the box on the top that enables Windows management of wireless connections
5. Click OK

A reboot is recommended. If you are using any form of WPA or 802.1X security, you will likely need to reboot the computer before you will be able to access your wireless Access Point -- even if it is configured correctly.

Even when both the manufacturer's software and the Wireless Zero Configuration services are running, the Configuration Utility should detect when Windows is not managing the connection and give you access to its own configuration options.

Likewise, Windows should detect when it is not enabled to control the wireless network configuration, and disable access to the Windows configuration options.

Advanced Troubleshooting:

Before proceeding, be sure to download a local copy of the manufacturer's software and driver should you find yourself with a disabled network card and a need to reinstall the software.

A. If you suspect that Windows is interfering with your wireless network, regardless of the setting, you can disable the underlying service. If the Wireless Zero Configuration service is disabled, Windows will not be able to manage the wireless network -- regardless of any setting. To permanently disable the Wireless Zero Configuration service, click Start, Run, and input services.msc and press Enter. In the Services window that follows, find the Wireless Zero Configuration service, double-click it, and change the startup option to Disabled. Reboot. If you still have issues, uninstall and reinstall your manufacturer's software now that the Wireless Zero Configuration Service is disabled. It should set itself up correctly now.

B. If the Manufacturer's configuration software is interfering with Windows' management of your wireless card, consider uninstalling your Manufacturer's software. Windows only needs the driver in order to communicate with your card and manage the wireless network. Everything else is optional. Remove the software from Add/Remove programs. The uninstall program might give you an option to uninstall everything except for the driver, or it might have separate Add/Remove Program entries for the utility. If it does not, then reinstall the software using the local copy you downloaded and look for an option that installs only the driver.

I was having problems connecting to a network, somehow I hit disable and now it seems dead, I went into the icon and it says no card found, no lights nothing, how do I bring it back re- enable it

Assuming you're in Windows, Hit the start button, right-click computer/my computer, hit manage.

This will bring you to the computer management console. Open the Device Manager from the left pane.

Expand the "Network Adapters" option listed. From here, you can enable/disable your Network Card or check for up to date drivers.

Error in scanner. Turn off scanner and follow instructions in manual.Scanner driver will be closed. (code:201) Unable to open TWATN source Please check connection Then re-start Toolbox.

This error can be caused by many different issues. Try the following resolutions in order until your issue is fixed-

1. You should disconnect and reconnect the USB cable at both ends to ensure there is a secure connection on the device side as well as the computer side. It may also be necessary to try a different USB port on the computer. Additionally, you may need to disconnect other USB devices, temporarily, in order to determine if a conflict exists.

2. unistall and re-install drivers-
1. Place the CanoScan Setup CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
2. When the CanoScan Setup Utility menu appears, click the option to 'Uninstall the Software' and then follow the prompts.

3. Disable Third-party Software
Software applications that are active during installation can cause errors, installation difficulties and even abort the installation.*1 Close all running applications, including anti-virus programs, before installing Canon Software. You can also prevent these applications from starting through 'System Configuration Utility' (also referred to as 'msconfig') in Windows 98/Me, Windows XP and Windows Vista.

If your computer is part of an office network: Network permissions, security software, etc. may be interfering with proper communication. Please contact your System or Network Administrator before attempting to disable software on your system.

a. See your applications' documentation for instructions on how to close it.

b. If you are unable to locate the documentation or the application appears to be running after it is closed, disable the startup items in the Windows 'System Configuration Utility'.

c. If disabling startup items in 'msconfig' does not correct the issue, disable non-Microsoft related services in 'Services' tab of 'System Configuration Utility' window.

d. Attempt to install the Canon software (drivers). If the drivers were already installed, uninstall them (keep the third-party software disabled) and then reinstall the drivers.

e. After installation is complete, set 'msconfig' back to 'Normal Startup'.

Pxe-e63 and pxe-m0f errors

enter to boot up in safe mode, then disable the atheros network drivers in my computers properties > hardware or drivers, then leave the originals that it came with should be the first two, ok, remove all others that say atheros, This error is of a group of driver programs being installed in computers through networking, yes hackers, I've fixed about 10 computers this month, but this software seems to log in to a network that can monitor your activity. Made by Atheros, & probably hacked to do this, cause Im sure the company did not modify this to log in to other private networks, if networks or drivers are disabled it will not even but up so best thing is to go into safe mode & disable these atheros drivers that dont belong in the computers in the first place. I had to re-install the bios in pcs because it modifies bios, registry files, and once t does that, its hell for the not so tech savy normal person.

Hi I have a belkin wireless G network adaptor. My trouble is that i lose signal. My router is only at best 30 ft away.I have to click repair when this happens. Any ideas?

Typically these devices come with software that not only installs the drivers, but also installs some software that takes over the role of connecting to the network. In my experience, this belkin software fights with the default windows wireless networking function. Windows will connect and then the belkin software will try to connect and it disconnects the windows connection. I found that not using the manufacturers software and sticking with the Windows default works best. Simply disable the belkin software and remove if from Start>Programs>Startup. If the drivers are all installed properly then Windows should automatically connect.

If this doesnt solve it let me know.

look out for the driver of the wireless card. check the system configuration were you have all installed hardwares and see if you can find thr card there. if it is not there, then you may have to get the driver cd and re install it. other wise uninstall the driver and re install it again. but first, go to network connections and see if it is there or if it has been disabled. if it is disabled, enable it and you will be fine
