Did your Explorer require the computer chip key to start it from the factory? If so, you're probably going to have to visit your "friendly, neighborhood Ford dealer", with all the numbers from your new ign..sw. and the new keys, and a $50.00 bill per key, to have them programmed. Actually, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm fearful that I'm not. Good luck, in any case.

99 ford explorer changed ignition now wont start

If your vehicle was towed, check the fuel pump intertia switch located near the top of the passenger side kick panel.
if you changed the key, you will be having an antitheft problem.
you could try putting an original key at the lock cylinder while turning the new key, it may allow it to start... if so, new key will require programming, or have the new lock cylinder coded to the old keys.

Where is the pressure valve that needs to be removed to change the master cylinder on a 2001 ford explorer sport

No--why are you changing a master cylinder ?

I just take out the piston & clean out the moisture,
then flush the entire system, all 4 corners

After that-- I do my brake work & then bleed all
4 corners

That has worked for me for 50 years, doing brake work

In the 1960's you could get repair kits for the master

2001 ford taurus key won't turn ignition

The steering wheel was turned when the key was removed. So when you try to turn on the key, turn the wheel one way and the other way to release the pressure on the key. The key should turn ok.
Hope this helps.

sounds like the battery is dead. Try recharging the battery or try jump starting from another vehicle using jumper cables.

If you take the switch out can you still start the ford explorer with a screw driver?

Yes, you have to rotate lock cylinder to ON, then insert a small pin into a hole on the side of the cylinder to depess a pin that then allows you to pull out the lock cylinder, with a "screwdriver end" on it that fits into the ignition switch.

Keys and Keyfob do not open 2001 explorer from outside

Spray some WD-40 into the key cylinders and then try working the key. The locks seize up because you keep using the FOBs.
