Would say the level switch is bad. Also the tube to the switch could be kinked or partially plugged. Go to sears.com then parts then put your model no. in. Find parts list and go from there.

In the bottom front of tub is a float for water cut off<, it could have been shifted during move out of position, could be stuck preventing it from raising and lowering, unpluged , switch underneath"attaches to underside of float base"could be bad > in order to inspect it the lower panel has to be removed and it is easy to see. Make sure when looking at electrical components that the power is off.

Where is the reset button for a kenmore 80 washer wont stop filling water level

If this is a top loader then the vacuum line has come off of the dashpot or the water level switch is broken. UNPLUG the power-Standing in front of the washer, pry off the plastic trim strips on the left and right of the dash (control panel) Now you'll see a screw at the bottom where the strips mounted, remove ans KEEP the screws, now the dash will lift up and fold back, giving access to the parts.

How do I check and replace the water level sensor on my Kenmore 80 Series Hvy Dty Washer?

Try eserviceinfo.com/index as per your 80 series. There are various downloads there that may help access the water level sensor which is most likely the problem.

Kenmore HD Series 80 - hot water trickles in.

Pull the two screws at the bottom corners of the control panel. Pivot the panel up. Lever the two metal keepers underneath forward and up to remove them. Tilt the housing forward and pull it toward you to remove it. Make sure you unhook the lid switch wiring plug before you remove the housing.

Water inlet valve should all be one piece for hot and cold.

Kenmore 80 Series will not fill up with water

if your washer will agitate when set to fill but not fill, then your pressure switch is bad.
also you may want to check and see if you are getting both hot and cold to your washer.

Kenmore 80 series overflow

Ok, it sounds either your hose from the water level pressure switch has come off or broke, or the pressure switch itself is bad.

Check the pressure switch hose first.

My tubing came loose and I just duct taped it back on and it works perfectly.

You would need to open your console as shown here:
http://www.applianceblog.com/mainfor...ead.php?t=1081
Pull forward and up on the console and you can hinge it open and hanging from the hinges.
