Zoom on my TV screen

Double tap the screen with 3 fingers and it will unzoom. Then to switch the feature off, go to settings, accessability and turn off zoom feature.

This sounds like you have ZOOM mode enabled on the TV. Look for a zoom button on your remote, there should be one. If you can't find it and can't get it unzoomed please respond here with the make and model number of your TV.

Have you tried hitting the format picture button on your remote control. Seems the picture is in zoom mode. If you have a cable box for HD Channels then look on the remote for a button (format) or Screen size.

Just try to ZOOM IN the screen of you TV, by pressing the zoom option of the remote or going to picture options in the Tv menu. This affect the picture you get but makes it bigger!

You can zoom and unzoom while in Movie Mode, but not while recording.  Sorry :(

Try going to the tv's menu under video settings.

The left and right arrows on the RCA remote control are the picture format buttons.....

hello, my 1 yr. old just last nite was pressing buttons on the front of my RCA 52" and i saw something pop up in the left corner that said zoom. i have not found anything that will unzoom it but i have found something to help. Go into the menu and go to picture. then to the advance settings and choose the automatic preference. it will fix it depending usually on the programming. Myabe someone will know how to turn off the zoom!

It was the zoom !! I lost the tv remote, I went to Radio Shack for a Universal remote and they didn't have one with a Zoom button,
The tv menu doesn't have a Zoom button either...Finally found one that works and all is WELL! Depending on what the tv station transmits, the screen size changes in the auto-matic selection in the menu.

This can be caused not enough high voltage going to the picture tube. If the picture seems to get larger and smaller depending on the brightness of the scene on the screen that is probably what it is. IF that is the problem, there isn't much a normal consumer can do.
