SOURCE: how do i reset my yamaha dx 100 back to original factory settings

yamaha dx100 reset. Press voice switches 1 and 2 while turning power switch on. Display will say test entry?. press the plus/yes button. This will reinitialize all memory to factory settings. Also the lithium ram backup battery voltage will be displayed as check level with a number representing the battery voltage. The number will be 10 times the actual battery voltage. A new battery will display 33 representing 3.3 volts. If your reading is below 22 then your battery is shot and will need replacing and if you turn the unit off it will probably get a scrambled memory again.

Factory reset - without remote NEC p553 monitor

You can't do it without a remote control. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites.

Yamaha RX-V359 the remote sensor in in the unit is not working. I have tried the remote control on another machine and that works

If the remote is working, but not with your receiver, there is maybe ID mismatch. Both the remote and receiver can be set to either ID1 or ID2 - this is used when you have 2 receivers nearby, so that both of them don't react on commands from both remotes.

See the "Advanced setup" of your manual. On receiver you can check/change the ID code by powering the receiver on (press STANDBY/ON) while holding down the STRAIGHT button on front panel. Display will show "Advanced setup". Use "program < >" keys to navigate the menu until you got to "REMOTE ID-XYZ". Then press STRAIGHT to select ID1 or ID2. Now press STANDBY/ON to turn the receiver off. After turning it on again, it will use the new settings.

You can also try to reset the remote control codes to factory defaults. On remote, press CODE SET with a tip of a pen or pencil. TRANSMIT light on remote will blink twice. Now press SETUP on the remote and then "9981". TRANSMIT should now blink twice and remote control is set to factory default codes.

How to do reset to rxv567 yamaha

Hello
You are asking how to reset all remote control codes, I assumes and posts this solution.
Resetting all remote control codes for external components to the initial factory settings.
Perform each of the following steps within one minute. Settings will be automatically stopped if more than one munute passes since the last operation. To reset, repeat from step 2.
[1] Press the codes set [located at the top right corner of the remote handset], using a pointed object such as the tip of a ball point pen. The LED on the remote blinks twice.
[2] Press (Setup) on the remote control handset itself.
[3] Enter "9981" using numeric keys. Once the remote control code is resetted sucessfully the remote control will blink twice. If reset is successfull, blink twice, if not sucessfull, will blink 6 times.

I HAVE A YAMAHA A/V RECEIVER HTR 6130. I ACCIDENTALLY PUSHED AND HELD DOWN 2 BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE CONTROL AND IT SHOWED REMOTE SET-UP, WHICH I DIDN'T WANT AND THEN THE MENU BUTTON AND RETURN BUTTON DIDN'T...

First of all, here is the direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for that model:

http://static.highspeedbackbone.net/pdf/Yamaha-HTR-6130BL-Manual.pdf

To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents. You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, and then just follow the onscreen instructions to install it.

See page 53-57 of the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for detailed instructions on how to set the remote control codes or reset them to factory settings.

To reset all codes back to factory settings do the following:

Press and hold AMP button.
While holding that button down, also press the AV POWER button for 3 seconds.
Now let go of those buttons.
Then use the number keys to enter the following code: 9981.
REMOTE SETUP OK should then appear on the front display.
The codes are now all reset to initial factory settings.

Please comment back here to this page if you have any questions, have difficulty accessing the links, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

Thank you very much and good luck.

How do you reset Yamaha rx-v3300 receivers to factory settings? some of the settings got changed and we are not sure what they were

A reset would REQUIRE you to go through EVERY setting anyway, so why don't you just go through every setting manually and leave the ones that look ok alone?
