Question about Heating & Cooling
How to drain water out of the glass tube on a hb smith boiler.the tube is full to the top. I think its supposed to be at the halfway mark isnt it.
You do not need to drain the tube. Drain the "boiler" untill the water level in the tube is at the half way mark. If it keeps rising to high you may need to replace or repair your auto feed control. BOILERS CAN BE DANGEROUS IF YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO SERVICE IT. You would be better off to hire a contractor to make the repair and to teach you the basic operating info on your particular system. You are better off spending the money for the repair SO YOU STAY SAFE
