SOURCE: after 2 0r 3 items are printed it shows me an eror code of 3809

Please call 1.800.421.6699 and select option 01 for prints missing black or color ink. Kodak will send you a replacement printhead kit for free. I hope this helps.

You can unplug the printer and plug it back in to the power outlet to the wall

And call or talk to the chatsupport

And asked them to replace the printhead

Push the button up on the upper left hand side of the printhead carriage. The printhead will pop out.

TRY THESE STEPS

Go to START MENU
Choose RUN
Type the letter "cmd"
Type the word "net stop spooler"
Exit
Go to C drive
Choose to Windows Folder
Click show content
Choose system32 folder
Choose spool folder
Choose printer
And delete all printing jobs pending
Again go back to CMD window and type the word "net start spooler"
Restart your computer also turn off your printer and switch it on.
It will work fine right now

  5. If problem persist better to send your printer to the technical person near on your place

Kodak 5500 All in One Printer


Error code 3809 refers to the printhead. You may try reinstalling it to make sure that is not the problem. Take it out, reinstall it, disconnect power cord from back of printer and wait for 2 mins. Then, re-connect power cord and wait until the memory card and photo tray lights go off. Turn printer on. If not solved, contact support
