Where can I find 1/2 key??

You probably have a multifunctional keyboard - so there is a key somewhere that is currently in its "on" state. It is usually located along the top or bottom of your keyboard and marked function / num.lock (numerical lock) or something similar.

Just DELETE Your Installed Printer,And Re-install with PS drivers.

In messaging, you can change the symbols by pressing # key and choose if you want numeric,alpha mode ect. with this(hotkey),you can easily access your desire symbols or key in messaging.

The epson has a self cleaning program. press together the top buttons - power and maintenance key. and the printer will start a cleaning process. If you had installed the full sofware of the printer to your PC then you can also access the printer functions and do it fromt he PC.If this wont clear the issue, there could be a possible printing head damage. Hope you had used only the original ink and not the refilled ones.. Hope this helps. Good Day

Try replacing the keyboard. sounds like a button is stuck and is causing the problem.

You must have a different keyboard selected other than the standard US keyboard My numeral 6 has ^ on it and the numeric keypad 6 has a right arrow. One generally uses the SHIFT key to access symbols that are written above the main alpha or numeric key. The numeric keypad on side of PC has a button labeled key marked NUMLOCK that is engaged to allow use of the numerals as a calculator or to also be inserted into text.

Hope this will give you hints. To pin point directly you need to replace printer head. But before replacing please consider suction cartridge caps or nozzle by cleaning and freeing clogged airways by dettaching manually. I understand that the long time being not used has caused the problem. However if you can still use black and other colors then used it than complicating downtime in repairing procedures. Yes, you are right no need to clean deeper more than three times it will consume inks half empty. Have a nice day.

if using XP go to my computer, right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager>look down list for keyboard, click '+' sign and highlight your keyboard and right click and select uninstall. Restart the notebook and the keyboard will be installed automatically along with the drivers and should set it back to default.
