Hi if your computer does not automatically install your drivers, you can try finding the drivers at their website here.

I have installed the software and still can't use the wireless keyboard and mouse (GE wk1204)

Most mice should work without any software, there is a button on the underside of the mouse that needs to be pressed in the right order with pressing the receiver button connected to the computers USB port. Typically Press the base connect button first, then the mouse connect button, then the keyboard button. If it doesnt work reverse the mouse keyboard order. Make sure your using new batteries This is most often the case -dead batteries. (installed in the correct fashion) cheers.

Can u use the mouse w/o the keyboard and did software come with this when i bought irt? Can i just use the mouse thats all i really would like to use.

You can use the mouse alone if you want to,if you have a cd with software for the mouse you should need to install it. You need to connect the receiver to a USB port on the computer. and make sure the mouse has battery and if there is a button on the mouse or receiver press it to activate the mouse.

Do I need a "receiver" for this keyboard and mouse or will it work if I just install the software?

Hi,

If both the keyboard and the mouse are wireless then yes you will need a receiver for them.
The receiver for the mouse maybe integrated into the keyboard if its a wired one, so yes, install the software for them.

When the install is complete don't forget to active the mouse using the connect button on the keyboard and the connect button that should be underneath the mouse.

Regards.

Keyboard Keys Don't Work

Microsoft keyboards do need software installed, it's called Microsoft IntelliPoint (for mouse), and Microsoft IntelliType (for keyboard).

There should be a button on the USB receiver that plugs into your computer. Push it. It should start blinking.

Next, turn your keyboard upside down, and look for a button. It should be pretty easy to find, probably white, and it has some etchings nearby. Press that button, and hold your keyboard up close to the usb receiver.

There is also a similar button on the bottom of your mouse. Do the same thing for the mouse: push the usb button, then push the button on the bottom of the mouse, and hold it close to the usb receiver.
