Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

750c plus was turned off and now says printer cartridges missing

Pull out the cartridges, turn the plotter on and install the ink cartridges one at a time - making sure each one is recognized. One of them may have gotten a power surge and had the electronics burned out - - replace that cartridge with a new one.

Bought the HP750C/Plus from work (it worked fine)

Can be tricky... DO NOT use a USB/parallel convertor. Either use USB only or parallel only to connect to your computer. I would NOT attemp to use a USB/serial convertor either.

If your computer does not have a parallel then best plan is to get an old PC with parallel connector and transfer data to it to be sent to the Designjet.

ON MY HP750C EVERY PLOT WANTS TO SERVICE THE CARTRIDGE RATHER THAN PLOTTING CONTINUOUSLY so i have to sit by the plotter rather than plotting a batch.

disable pen check option thru Front Panel Menu Button
it will not check the cartridges & not service the cartridge

Only if you want to print by way of the network rather than by directly connecting to a single computer. Otherwise you can safely leave this alone.

HP 750C Moved across country, bought a new iMac. Forgot how to set up plotter settings so the mac can find it. on the network. I remember having to make changes on the plotter, but can't remember what...

Hello, the plotter should be seen in your print and fax preferences (apple menu, system preferences, print and fax): In the print and fax preferences panel, you can click on "+" at the bottom left of the window, you should see your plotter appear in the window, and click on the "add" button Best regards

Plotter will not print colors

This is a little confusing, you stated in the first post that the cartridges had been replaced then the second post said no. Have you tried running a maintenance on the machine like printhead cleaning or adjustment.

If the inks have not been replaced and it was used it would probably be best to replace them as one set so you know they are all good from the start

Hope this helps

Hp design jet 750c plus. while plotting auto cad drawing,i command it to plot black/white (mono) but it plots all in color instead.I selected mono button on the printer as well.

Your plotter driver needs to be set to either black or greyscale. The driver will overide the settings on the plotter unless you set up the plotter in manual. ie the pen thicknesses, colour etc are set in the control panel to manual. The driver takes priority always.

HP 755 CM CARTRIDGE MISSING ERROR

This normally points to a worn ribbon on the carrage. Make sure the ribbon where the cartrige makes contact is really clean, if cleaning make sure the plotter is turned off. Sometimes a build up of ink can cause problems. The bad news is that if the ribbon on the carrage is worn it firstly comes with the carrage as a unit, and secondally the carrage is no longer available from HP
