You will need to open the register up and check for a paper blockage or dirt and clean it ... then try again.... also wouldn't hurt to check the settings to make sure its not setup by default to do that... or might even be a paper with setting that needs adjusted

I HAVE A HP ALL IN ONE D110 PRINTER IT MAKES A LOUD TAPPING NOISE WHAT IS IT'S PROBLEM AND CAN IT BE FIXED AND HOW?

Depends on where the tapping is coming from. If it is the print engine then the encoder strip might be dirty and stopping the printer from being able to track where the head is. Open the front door and look for a clear strip that runs across the printer, it is located in the area where the printhead moves back and forth. It has a micro grid printed on it that an optical eye tracks to see where the head is located. If dirty it can be gently cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with water. Use caution because if you scratch it, you may render the printer unusuable.

Canon Multipass F30 not printing

Did you remove the tab that covers the cartridge head where the ink comes out, if the drivers and software that you loaded on your pc work
good and your printer shows under device MGR, then it is the printer
itself,,most times you can not see how much ink in the cart,,,most are sealed,,,just try to put the cart in again and make sure it is locked in good,,try running the cleaning program with pc,,make sure the right
cart is in the right spot, bl in one spot and color in a spot.

Label not advancing to tear-off perforation

Try this to have the printer auto-sense the size of the labels:
1. Make sure that printer power is off.
2. Press and hold the feed button.
3. Turn printer power on.
4. When the status light blinks, release
the feed button.
5. The printer advances the media to
measure and verify the length of
individual labels or tags. The printer
then prints a status summary and
remains in diagnostic dump mode.
6. To begin normal operation, tap the
feed button. The printer prints "out of
DUMP" and advances a label.

The printer may not be scratching your printout but you may have a clogged printhead. A clogged printhead will constantly miss a spot creating an effect of a scratch printout. Please run an all inks printhead cleaning routine (2 or 3 times) and create a test page. Best Regards
