I believe to turn the alarm on or off, you have to push the nose in.

Need instructions for Discovery Kids Projection Daisy Bloom Alarm Clock

1.set time: hold down "clock" button for five seconds, then use up and down arrows to change, and press "clock" button once to toggle between month/day/year/hour/minute. Try it a few times b/c sometimes it just goes to the alarm setting (i don't know why, i think it's a glitch).
2.set alarm: hold down "alarm" button for 5 seconds, use up and down arrows to change, press "alarm" button once to toggle between hour/minute. press "clock" button to return to clock
3.turn on/off alarm: press "alarm" button once, press up to turn alarm on and press up again to turn alarm off. press "clock" button to return to clock
4.to project the images: push the buttons that look like video cameras. to focus the image, rotate the cylinder around the lens that projects the image. on the daisy clock, there's a button on top that you can use to flip the projected image of the time upside down. use the dial next to the lens-cylinders to select a different image (you may need to point the cylinders in a different direction to reach the dial)

Don't know how to set alarm(s) on a sunbeam digital LED alarm clock model #C38. Can you help??

It's very easy to do. First, make sure the 2 little slider switches on the far right hand side that turn the alarms on and off, are in the "down" off position.
On that clock, just to the right of the large snooze button there are 5 small square buttons. Time, Fast, Slow, Alarm set 1, Alarm set 2.
Depending on which alarm you want to set, hold down that button and simultaneously push either the "fast" or "slow" button to the left of it. The numbers will move forward fast or slow depending on which button you're pressing. Keep an eye on the upper left corner to determine when you've gone past 12 noon - as the indicator for PM will light up.
Keep holding down the 2 buttons until you get to the time you want. Then immediately release the fast/slow button. Your time is set. Do the same for alarm 2 if needed. When finished, flip up the switch for the alarm you want to activate, and you're good to go. Piece of cake! It took me a few minutes to figure it out; but after doing it one time...it's easy. Hope that helps.
I love this old Sunbeam clock. Only problem is the alarm is not very loud and there's no way to raise the volume - short of connecting wires to the speaker and using a powered speaker. Cheers!

I have a 1978 battery operated Garfield clock made by Sunbeam. The wires have come off, am trying to rewire but need a diagram

I have a Model 883-100
As far as I can tell
Battery 1 + Yellow from clock / Green from clock -Neg (Clock)
Battery 2 + Red to bell / White Neg to clock (Alarm Bell)
blue to alarm volume switch
red from alarm switch to bell

The Green is Neg on the inside of the movement
The Yellow is Positive to the clock movement
The Blue and White go to the trigger for the alarm-
(switch to power alarm)
one battery is for the clock and the other is for the bell
the battery on the clock moment is not needed
but should can be used to run the clock if wiring is messed up.

Two clocks are set at 6am one clock gains 30 seconds every hour and the second clock loses 1 minute every hour. at what time will the faster clock be 30 minutes ahead of the second clock

Compute the difference in clock-speeds, namely 90 seconds per hour.
Convert the units of time: 30 minutes becomes 180 seconds.
So, divide 180 by 90 to get '2', namely 2 hours after the 6 o'clock "start" time, which makes it 8 PM.

P.S. There is at least one error in the above solution. If you truly understand the solution, make the necessary correction, and submit the corrected "homework" to your teacher.

Instructions for Sunbeam clock model # 882-495

Move the second button from the left to set, enter the time in 24 hour format via the HH and MM buttons, then move the button to start. The far left switch, on/auto.off is for the chime. Set to on for 24 hour alarms, set to auto for no chime from 11pm til 6am, set to off, to turn it off.
