Hi. The HDCP error happens when your HDMI connection or TV are not up to HDCP compliance. Two things you can try to fix this are to reset your TV itself buy unplugging the power cable for 10 sec. You can also reset your HDMI connection but unplugging the HDMI cable for 10 sec. If you are still having this issue after these resets, please email us as socialmedia@dish.com.

Lg hdtv will not recognize any channels when i perform the auto tuning during setup. what solutions are there? i am using an hdmi cable running from my cable box to the back of the tv

First is if the connection was made with box and set on HDMI connections do not like that.

I would as a first step connect via component to see if works that way.

I would then unplug both the set and the box for a while--plug them back with the connection already made--this will allow if a glitch happened both to reboot and may solve the issue.

If still not working try component connection and as a last resort see if there exists a firmware upgrade for this set with this issue.

I RUN THE CHANNEL SCAN FOR CABLE BUT I CAN NOT PICK UP ANY CHANNELS.

If you are connecting to cable via a cable box you do not need to scan for channels. You simply need to be on the input channel that corresponds to the connection type you are using. For example, if your TV and cable box are connected via HDMI you need to press your Input or Video Source button until it says HDMI. Cycle through your Inputs and see if that fixes the issue.

Hope that helps!

I have skyhd connected to Lght-805sh via optical connection but when i turn sky over from a hd channel to normal channel there is no sound

Hi,

Not sure what you mean by "optical connection" but you need to connect your SkyHD box to your TV using both HDMI and SCART cables. Your Sky HD box will then send the signal via the HDMI cable for the HD channels and the SCART cable for the SD channels.

Hope this helps

Ghosting on hdmi channel on my sony bravia

With HDMI there should be no ghosting. And being a Sony Bravia it should be no ghosting. My 52" Sony is great.
You've got connection issues.

Onkyo tx-sr 606 HDMI signals not working anymore...

I am sorry about your issue,. If the reset did not resolve your issue the receiver would need to be serviced. It if was purchased from an authorized seller less than 2 years ago it would be under warranty. Thank you. Onkyo USA

Pink Screen on Vizio 37 inch with HDMI Connection

Hi,
I work as a contract technician for Vizio, and I can tell you from experience that replacing motherboard is one of the only solutions to this problem. The other solution if under warranty is to replace it. If you experience red, blue, or green pixels where dark shades (like nose, eyes, clothes, etc), call Vizio and accept nothing less than a full replacement! I have had situations where I replaced motherboard and within 2-3 hours the pixels return. Hope this helps.

This is a common issue with HDMI. Try unplugging the TV for 2 monutes and also reset the cable box as well by inplugging.

No right channel audio when using HDMI connection to HDTV

Since it is easier to replace, I would go with the cable box first. Sometimes there are software upgrades for the TV's that fix such issues but, almost all HDMI issues are with the cable box not the tv.
