2007 Saab Convertable, how to change driver side headlight?

Low beam burned out. After looking at the assembly, removing the two top bolts, I quit. Without a proceedure, looks like I can cause more damage than its worth. How do I do it?

Need to replace low beam light in my 2002 GMC Safari Van how do I do it?

Open the hood & near the top of the headlight you will see 2 bolts (10mm), remove them. You will notice the whole headlight assembly is loose from the top. Look down into the headlight assembly to the left & you will see another 10mm bolt that connects the outside light fixture. Remove the bolt & that light fixture will fall out (top first). Behind that light fixture you will see your last bolt when you look at the front of the vehicle. Remove it & now the entire light assembly will slide out & give you access to the both high beam & low beam bulbs. Hope this helps.

Replace low beam drivers side headlight on 1993 olds cutlass supreme convertible

Remove turn signal assembly (uses a torx 15 driver). This will expose the two 10mm bolts on the one side of the headlight assembly. Remove the plastic front grill (uses a torx 15 driver - there are about 6 screws). This will expose the other two 10mm bolts on the headlight assembly. Remove the four 10mm bolts to remove the headlight assembly and this will allow you access to the headlight you need to replace.

How to replace Head light & running light switch

remove the 4 bolts that hold the headlight assembly into the chassis frame.
For example, to remove the left front headlight;
It takes a 9006 low beam bulb, OEM is 51 watts If you buy a halogen upgrade, it will be a 55 watt bulb I don't know if you can put a super xenon bulb in there, it may harm the harness, I don't know so don't rely on me for that...
Lift the hood Get a socket head wrench and some SAE (standard) sockets. Find the socket that fits the bolt head just above the headlight. I think it is a 3/8's or slightly larger.
There are 4 bolts screwed through the frame into the top of the headlamp assembly. The bolts on each end of the headlight are longer and go all the way through the assembly to align it properly.
Lay each bolt out, on the ground in the order you removed them. The middle two bolts are short, maybe 1 " and the ends are closer to 3.5" long.
Once the bolts are out, slide the headlight assembly forward. There are two bulbs, a high and low beam. The low beam bulb is to the outside of the car, or drivers side on the left, farthest to the passenger side on the right.
Most of the time the low beam will burn out since it's used 90% of the time.
The bulb has a right angle fitting with a wiring harness attached. With your hand or a channel lock pair of pliers, gradually rotate the light bulb base counter clockwise until the unit is loose in the socket holder.
Disconnect the bulb from the wiring harness and replace it with the new bulb.
Reverse the process and turn on the headlights to check you have the bulb harness properly attached before finishing up the reassembly of the 4 bolts.
Your bulb alignment with the ground should not have changed from this work. Have fun...not difficult. Takes about 10 minutes per bulb.

Need to change passanger side low beam headlight, how do I go about it?

You will need a 10mm socket with an extension that is at least 10 inches long. You need to remove the headlight assembly. Once you remove the bolts on top of the assembly there is one more bolt down low which is almost impossible to get to without that extension.
Once the assembly is loose, unhook the various connectors. Now the whole assembly should come out easily. The low beam headlight is held in by a spring clip. Don't touch any glass part of the new bulb and do use the electric grease they will try and sell you at the register. Once the bulb is changed it is just a matter of reinstalling the connectors and the bolts.

I need to change low beam bulb how to get old one

Depends on which side you are working on. The easiest way actually involves more steps, in my opinion. On the passenger side, take out the air box to access the 10 mm nut for the entire headlight assembly. Remove the two 10mm bolts on top of the headlight assembly, pull the whole thing out, mindful that the wires are still attached. Remove the cover to the bulb, unclip the wire holding the metal base to the assembly and remove the bulb. Pull on the wire connector to remove from the bulb. The reason this is simpler is because of the wire part that holds the bulb base onto the assembly. With the assembly in place, you can't get a good view of the thing to unhook it or re-hook it.
The driver's side is a bit easier--you only need a deep socket 10mm to remove the nut holding the assembly to the frame or if you don't have a deep socket, remove the fill tube for the winshield washer, then remove the nut. Remove the two bolts holding the assembly on top and continue as with the passenger side. DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB!!! Your fingerprint oils will cause the bulb to fail earlier than it should.

1988 buick century headlights

To change the low beam headlight on the 2001 Lesabre, the headlight assembly must first be removed from the car. It is really quite simple to do. There are two bolts on the top of the assembly that must be removed - that is all! The entire assembly comes out and gives easy access to the low beam bulb. Give it a 1/4 counterclockwise turn to remove it. Plus in the new one (#9006) and reverse the procedure.

How do you change head lights on a 2004 kia sorento?

The whole headlight assembly needs to be removed from the vehicle to access the lamps inside; especially on the side with the battery (left side).

Remove 3 10m bolts (one on top two on front)

Headlight assembly is held in place wth a large Nylon clip ear outer edge at bottom of the unit. Tilt out at the top and then pull forward and upward to remove. It fels like something's gonna break, but it's pretty tough.

Remove large round cap from behind either high or low beam lamp. Both lamps are hels in with a metal spring clip. Low beam is H-7, high beam is H-3.

To re-install, press bar into Nylon clip and then install 3 10mm bolts. Use a Torx bit to engage gear teeth and adjust height if necessary. There may or may-not be adjusters for left-right alignment.
