Question about Microwave Ovens
Difficult to give specific instructions without knowing the model of the appliance.
In general, to replace the bulb you have to open the chassis sheet metal that is secured with screws on the back.
IMPORTANT: BEFORE YOU DO ANY WORK ON AN OPEN MICROWAVE, YOU NEED TO DISCHARGE THE CAPACITOR WHICH STORES A HIGH VOLTAGE. If you are not sure of how to do this, it is better to get the service done by a professional. You can search online for "Discharging Microwave Capacitor"
Once the capacitor is safely discharged, you can look at the connections inside and locate the bulb to be replaced. It is typically behind the control panel.
