Hi, i need change number of ring to fax into panasonic 8020e


yep. you can only change it through fax service mode. here check it out:

To enter the Fax Service Mode
  • Press “FAX/EMAIL” key.
  • Press “FUNCTION”, and then “7” keys.
  • Press “MONITOR” four times, then press “*”.
  • Enter the desired code number, or press the “V”, ”/\” arrow keys.
  • Go to function parameter setting, and then press START key
  • Press '4' and then '5' keys or press 'V' to select #045 mode.
  • Enter a number (1 for 1 ring, 2 for two rings...), and then press START key to save.
  • To exit the Fax Service Mode press “STOP” key.

So, people, really! "Call service"message means CALL the SERVICE! (The problems can be various, so only the service can check wich is is the give problem and solve it.)

reset the unit..press menu#9000*550 Then press start.Call service 3 has something to do with the temperature of the unit check thermostat @ the fuser unit.replace it because the thermostat is not switching to on/off condition although it reaches its peak temperature.
