Question about Computers & Internet
You will lose data, but you can restore an iPod by plugging it into your computer (with iTunes running) and holding the home and power buttons until it looks off, keep holding both for a few seconds, and then releasing the power button but keep holding the home button. It should come up on your computer for an option to restore. It will wipe all the data but then you should be able to re-sync it.
