Question about Nokia N8 Cell Phone
Hi, I am in a very grieving situation. I dropped my N8 phone in water just slipped from pocket in washtub for about 2 sec.I took the phone dried it off and then tok the phone to nokia care. They kept it for one day and said that the motherboard got shorted and thats it,nothing can be done except give the phone for spare parts. I am ver very upset.

this problem is because of water which is dried over some components inside ur phone. take it to technician, it need to be cleaned from inside with acetone, if problem still stays then it need to be repaired very minor.thanks.

if your have warranty on the phone please bring it back to the store where it was purchase bcoz if the touch screen is messed up there is no way for the phone to work properly

You did get moisture in there...
Place the phone in a bag of rice.. for a couple of days... it may pull enough of the moisture out so that it will work again...but you may have already ruined it by turning it on...
Try the rice trick... it may help you out...
