Question about Panasonic PT-56DLX75 56" HDTV
I don't guess there is any other problem. Usually, whenever you see 12 blinks, no screen when you turn on the plasma, that confirms defective power supply.
Are you sure that even the new power supply board is not at fault and you have fixed it properly.Usually this situation occurs when you have bad capacitors. Most require a star screwdriver.Look for bulging caps in power supply board. (3300uf 10v ) caps need to be replaced with 3300uf 16v. Identify the bad caps.... Caps are bad when they are bulged/bulged and raised. A good Cap is flat X top not raised or buldged.Caps cost abywhere from 1-2 dollars or you can buy them in lots of 10 or 12 on ebay for around 8 bucks. Caps need to be soldered on. Do it yourself (if confortable) or take it to a tech/pc repair shop in your local area. Do do that unplug all the wire harness from the board and unscrew the boarda nd take to your teck to solder on the new caps.
You can fix this for about 20 bucks if you have someone else solder or 40 cents if you buy the caps on ebay and replace the 2 bad ones yourself. If one is bad and the other is not replace them both.
The caps go bad because they need to be a higher voltage. 10 insn't enough..... 16 is plenty and don't go any higher than that.
As you already purchased the new board, check the new board with the help of a voltmeter. If you wish you can also call a tech to check the board. You can also check the other connections.
Note - Make sure you have requested the correct board. On the board, the part number would be engraved.
I hope this would help you.
