Question about Philips HTS3450 System
I have had this thing for less than a year and it worked great up until about a month ago, now the dvd player still shows the picture, but there is no sound coming from any of the speakers including the sub. i called phillips and they will not fix it under warranty because i lost my receipt. i dont know of any ways to fix it or what i should do. i have checked and rechecked all connections. any help would be very helpful I had the same problem with the HTS3450/37 so I replaced the two capacitors as stated by WheatService and it was good for while. This past Monday it went out again, the green light doesn't come on when powering up the subwoofer. I don't know if I should try fixing it again or just replacing the whole unit. This is very frustrating!
Yes, company will charge you, but the best suggestion is to get repaired from the company person.
The normal problems are bad contact of speaker wires and settings of sound from the sound menu. I think you are a genius guy, so you might have checked such things, so now its better to give it to PHILIPS SERVICE CENTRE.
