If you can locate the vertical IC you are nearby!. You will have to resoder the grounds on the vertical IC and any cap in the immediate area of this vertical IC is weak. I would replace them all as they will pull each other down. There may be four caps and the largest one, possibly a 25 volt 2200MF would be the only good cap. I dont have the specs on this set, but this will surely lead to a good repair!

you are going to find a open filter capacitor right at the vertical output chip (usually a 220 uf at 25-35 volts) that is open or low in value.
If the set is run like this it will soon destroy the output chip.
