Question about JVC AV-48WP30 48" Rear Projection Television
My JVC 52" projection lcos TV has went through 6 bulbs in 5 years. I am used to changing them. The picture started progressively getting dark over the last month or two. It's darkest in the middle about 2/3 from the top and gradually changes.
Changed the bulb twice and it didn't improve. Any ideas what the problem could be?
The life estimate for a bulb is about 5000 hours, and if the bulb is dieing before that is very obvious you have another issue on the TV
That Could be a temperature problem, like a cooling system is failing (usually the is two fan around that) or a lot of dust in the cooling system. another one could be temp sensor also maybe failing and is not sensing high temperatures and is no turning off the TV
Also make sure you have enough ventilation in the back of the TV
Hope this give you a better idea of the problem
