Which motherboard, which sound card...could you be anymore vague? If you know your manufacturer or the model of the computer or motherboard, look to their websites to get this as it is probably still available on their various websites. If all else fails, download a driver fixer program that gives you a free trial. Let it run, find the name of the driver you need and then go find it on google.

hello waiyasin, this altec lancing don't need a driver, it just plug and play hardware. if there is a problem with the driver, try to install sound driver from your motherboard driver. if u use external sound card, try to install sound driver from the sound card driver. if u have problem how to install the driver then u just need open the device manager. u can find it on control panel. once u open the device manager window, insert motherboard driver (or sound card driver if u use external driver) into CD Rom. in device manager window u will find sound or audio device, right click it and choose update driver then follow the instruction. that's it.

After formating my pc i hear no sound..My pc is Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600) Help...

After PC format, you now need to put all the required pc drivers like modem driver, sound driver, LAN driver, WAN Driver, Camera Driver and other driver software. Maybe you miss this software. Check your device manager if you pc is not reading the sound card hardware because you have not install the sound card driver to activate the sound card.
