    Use the same anti-virus no matter what kind of drive you scan. You need to set your scanning method to "thorough" and make sure it is scanning archives.

IT IS REALLY SLOW WHAT CAN I DO

1. Update your anti-virus software. If it fails to update, you probably have a computer-virus.
2. Disconnect from the Internet. Does it now seem to run better? If so, then you probably have a computer-virus.
3. Run the updated anti-virus software, to scan for viruses.
4. Tell us more about the computer:
* manufacturer
* model
* CPU (Intel? AMD?) speed?
* how much RAM in your computer?
* how "old" is the computer?
* desktop or laptop?
* when is the last time that you took a can of compressed-air and gave a "blow-job" to remove all the dust from insdie the computer?
* how "old" is the disk-drive? Is it "failing" ? What speed? 4200 RPM? 5400 RPM 7200 RPM?
* when was the last time that you DEFRAG'd that disk-drive?
* Windows XP? Vista? 7?

Coping file from external hard disk to hard disk his error "internal error 0000000B.

This seems to happen mostly when anti-virus programs are taking too long to scan a file, or have frozen while scanning the files you are trying to copy. Try temporary disabling the virus scanner while copying the files.

Can't scan my system. webroot seems to be blocked. I was on the net when my pc suddenly restarted. Since then pc games are wrong colors, I can't reset my pc to an earlier time than the last time I turned...

"...webroot seems to be blocked..." and the other misbehavior are signs of one of the new "AIDS" type viruses (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). These nasty little beasts are written to disable your anti-virus software.

Fix #1: download rkill.exe to a flash drive on another computer. Insert the flash drive on a USB port on your computer and double-click rkill. If the rkill log shows it has halted a program, that is probably the virus. Now you can update and run webroot.

Fix #2: sometimes the system is too seriously corrupted to get it to run its anti-virus program. In that case, take the hard drive out and install it as a slave drive or secondary drive in another computer after you update the anti-virus software on that computer. Start the antivirus program and tell it to do a full scan on the infected drive. When that is done, you can put it back in the e-Machine.

Some viruses attack components of the operating system and the anti-virus programs disable or remove those components, including copies in the System Restore files. So, just in case you need to do a repair install, while the other computer is scanning the disk, see if you can get your hands on a Windows install CD for your version. Alternatively, if you can get the computer to run in Safe Mode, you can go through the virus scan log on the computer used to do repairs to see what system files were affected. Copy the ones from the other system to your flash drive and put them in the corresponding location on the e-Machine (note: both systems must have the same version of Windows, e.g , XP Service Pack 3, for this file replacement scheme to work).

System has been attacked by viruses. Antivirus not working any more

Try to 'restore' to an earlier time, or to 'recover' to factory settings to delete those viruses.

I have a virus I cannot remove from my hard drive

If you can go to Avira.com and download there repair disk,you can put it on a disk or flash drive, it will run before windows starts(dos), you force the lap to boot from the disk. If this is a virus Avira will kill it.
Avira is the 2nd top anti-virus on planet, there free edition is better
than AVG, Avg is 21 out of the top 20 anti-virus.

Yes, if you reinstall windows and delete the drive,install to (C) new raw and format, it will be gone, but a lot of work when you don't need to.

i think those virus have injected some registry files on your system...try scanning with a good and updated anti-virus..and download CCLEANER and run the issue registry scanner.

btw,, its better to scan the OS with an anti-virus via safemode.
