Could be the Hi Limit Thermostat causing problems. There are over 350 Roper Dryers. Not much can be diagnosed without knowing the actual model number of your dryer. Please drop a comment with full model number. You can view the parts by selecting the correct model from this site.

My Roper rel3612bw2 will only warm and not get hot. The heating element was replaced around three years ago. Could it be the heating element again or a thermostat control or something else?

I would disconnect the vent tube and run the dryer and see if it gets hot, if it does then it is a restricted vent. If not then I would check these items:

I have a roper dryer (REL3612BW2) that will not turn on.

If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. Here is a link to the part you will need. Below is a video to walk you thru the repair process for the switch.

Dryer will heat up but drum will not turn. Unable

Good day,
Sounds like a broken belt, Excellent tutorial on changing the belt on the link below.
Caution: Some models used a very poorly designed belt tensioner. If the tensioner is that style, replace it while purchasing the belt.
Appliance parts house counter men are well aware of the problem. The Roper line is made by whirlpool.

I have a Roper Dryer Model REX3514PQO. The dryer

Sounds like you have a broken drum belt.
If you have to replace your drive belt and if you have a front loading machine.
First you will need to unplug your dryer from the electric.
Remove the front of the machine, this will expose the belt and drum, remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers, idler arm bracket with pulley, and motor with pulley.
While you have the drum out, I would also recommend that you lubricate the drum rollers at the shaft of the roller with a good grade of machine oil like 3 in One oil. This will save you problem later with the rollers getting noisy, also check your drum rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them this will cause a noise like a thumping type noise. You will need to replace the drum rollers if they have flat spots on them.
If the belt is not broken, then I would check to see if the timer switch is working properly, if not then you may need to replace it.
Good luck,
I hope this helps

Roper dryer model res7648kq0. wont turn on or heat ?

On the back side of the dryer sits the heater and various safety clixons. Any of them that would be OPEN ( no continuity) would be the problem. Here are some repair pictures
