I have Sony Trinitron KV32FS12 and when the set warms up the screen goes to black but sound stays on. Ity does it more during commercials then a show. Annoying. I have checked the cables and it is straight line to cable so no mid-line interfearance. Good cable wires (COX Provided). All other sets in home fine.

Your problem is due to video or luminance section. remember it is loose contact only in that section or print loose. please check 1 crt base loose 2 supply line loose contact. 3 loose contact near chroma signal processor in luminance section only. 4 any connector loose. 5 no component failure.

Blinking a black screen on and off.

Picture tubes do not "go out" by going black: Your TV has a power heat-related issue. It is trying to come on but, the protection circuit is preventing it.
As; opening it to dust it, is dangerous; I suggest you take it to a good tv shop.

My tv blinks from regular picture to a black screen continuously.

your tv is on the blink.

remove the back panel of set
on the crt pcb board you will find a wite or black pot.
turn it up or down while set is on this is the G@ voltage ajustment.
you might get 3 monts to a year of extra life from your pictor tube by doing this.

Sony kv35s66: No picture, just sound and red blinking

The most common problem (I have fixed lots) is the Vertical amplifier has developed a loose connection. It probably just needs resoldering. As things expand it makes and looses connection you picture goes in and out. The vertical chip is a large black chip that gets hot, over time it degrades the solder until a connection is damaged. Most newer sets have a protection circuit that senses the lack of height, and shuts down the picture tube to save it. When the picture dropped to a line on older TVs and left that way too long it would burn a line into the face of the picture tube. You then had to have the picture tube replaced along with the vertical amp. it's kinda like a screensaver for your TV.

Sony Trinitron KV-32S40 32" TV problem

This is a simple and common problem. The solder joints on the vertical output IC have cracked loose. I actually did a housecall on the exact same set with the exact same symptoms this morning! A good tech will resolder the pins of the vertical output IC and all other major solder joints on the main board and the set will play fine.

My tv blinks from black screen to picture

You might have loose conections on the horizontal driver or output circuit,do not use it like that or it will go dead completely and is going to cost a lot more.If the set is older than 5 years it might have loose conections in the power supply too.Call someone qualified for an estimate.
