Question about Computers & Internet
When laptop is turned on it it boots up only to the point where you enter you password and sreen turns black andit asks you to enter your password. this process keeps on repeating. on trying to boot using an ultimate boot CD it does not access the harddrive. how do i solve this when i dont have the original repair CD?
Sounds like a BIOS password to me...
No hacks, or tricks will work with software, as the BIOS is specifically preventing you from booting ANYTHING.
Some laptops feature RESET buttons on the underside, or hidden under the battery to resolve this issue, but more than likely, the laptop must be opened up and have the CMOS battery removed temporarily to wipe the password.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
