SOURCE: control panel lights
I tried the On/Off and PROG buttons simultaneously but nothing happened. Then I just guessed and pressed the HOUR and MINUTE buttons simultaneously and it worked. My wife's going to love me for this one (Ha-ha).

Hubby says it could be a stuck button. Otherwise there could be a fault with your front control panel. Feel special, he's never come across that before!

Testimonial: "thanks for the idea. you might be onto something."
Try to turn the steam knob to off postion and the switch off and on again. If the light insist that means that the steam micro-switch which is activated by turning the knom is either stuck in on position or is faulty and need to be replaced.

SOURCE: The machine works OK when
You have a shortened key on 2, that is why the machine does not respond to the 2-cup button. The keypad is weak and cannot really press the panel for the machine to be able to respond to the 2-cup button.
The control panel need to be checked and replaced with a new control panel in order for the machine to be able to respond to the pressing of the 2-cup button.
Hope this helped. Goodluck Elect_Comp

E. Some models require you press down on the Start button until the unit powers up.
F. Some models require you press down on the Select button until the unit powers up.
G. Many models require you select a baking mode by pressing the Select button before the pressing the Start button.
Q: In the end, were you able to confirm your breadmaker is receiving power?
No. Sorry to hear that. Have it serviced by a small appliance repair shop or simply discard it.
Yes. Fantastic! Now reboot the electronics by pressing down on the Stop button for 1 to 5 seconds. Note: A few models require you press down on the Start button instead. And even fewer require you press down on the Select button instead.
Often the + and - Delay Timer buttons are pressed by mistake, delaying Start by up to 12 hours. If you suspect this handy feature has been engaged accidentally, you'll need to reboot the breadmaker's electronics. See reboot directions above.
Note: All breadmakers use a belt and pulley system. If your breadmaker powers-up but the mixer won't turn during the kneading cycles, your timing belt is probably broken. You'll need to disassemble the breadmaker to visually confirm. The belt and pulley assemblies are located at the bottom of your breadmaker.
