Dimplex club electric 2kw fire cutting out when switched on for a while the heat comes on for about 5 to 10mins then switches heat off is their a safety switch on this model please help

I have the same problem with 3 of the 5 EPX1000s I have fitted in my flat, although mine don't even warm up. They just immediately turn themselves off. My only conclusion is that they are rubbish. Specifically, the so-called overheat protection doesn't work. Avoid.
