I have a Rodac air file 8500/8800 and need the items numbered #30 ( 8001-4) valve spring, #31 (8001-6) valve ball, #32 (8500-32) rear valve "O" ring, #33 (8500-33) rear valve, and #34 (8001-5) valve plunger on the Parts list.

Not sure what type pump you have but you can buy a chem. injector rebuild kit at Pressure washer parts catalog quick links Pressure Washers High Pressure...
If you need to replace the spring then replace the entire kit. Ball, spring and oring. Most pumps that come on the newer TRoy bilts are AR RMW pumps. the parts diagram can be found here at http://www.arnorthamerica.com/manuals/rmw-om%201006.pdf

Usually, the rubber gasket parts had become brittle. Just replace these parts and the entire component is now "refurbished" and good to go for another 5 years.

Smoking issues after warm start up are usually caused by brittle valve stem seals and oil leaks down through the valve guide. These can be changed on the engine without head removal. Just use a air compressor to keep the cylinder full of air with the valves closed then remove the rocker arms counting the number of turns to keep adjustment. With a on car spring compressor remove spring. The valve keepers can be tight in retainer so tapping the retainer with released tension they will break free. Most chevy heads have 2 oil seals a hat type (positive spring seal) and a o-ring seal. With spring removed take both seals off there are very brittle. Replace the hat seal first then install spring with retainer. the o-ring seal needs to stay in retainer and in lower groove then install valve keepers and slowly release the spring pressure, Once spring compressor is removed then tap valve stem with hammer to seat keepers then release air. Also check Intake manifold bolts for proper torque. A loose manifold will also **** in oil bolt torque is 35-40 ft. lbs cast iron 30-35 ft. lbs aluminum manifold.

When air is turn on impact will only turn to the right and fluid leaks out at the left button that would reverse it but it will not reverse to the left.Do I have a O ring messed up or what?

Same problem - Valves parts 31 and 32 (Qty 2 EA) needed replaced. I called Harbor Freight 1-800-444-3353 and pressed "0" to ask a technical question after following the first set of prompts.. "Continue in English...etc"
The Item number for the TL1017 is "93100". The repair kit for the valves is SKU# 12602. The total with shipping was $9.08 for me but may be a little different by the time you are reading this reply.. Haven't received them yet, so I can't comment on the parts at this time.

your ring on the piston or your cylinder is scored. you'll need to have or do it your self and have the cylender hone and new rings installed. check to make sure your cylinder is not to Far damaged. good luck

Where is check ball valve on my 1982 electaglide

The check ball valve is in the oil pump. When you look at the top of the oil pump, the check ball is under the innermost threaded plug, the low one, not the high one. You will have to drain the oil tank before you remove this ball. Take out the plug, the sping, and use a magnet to remove the ball. Buy two new balls, they aren't expensive.
Now, drop on of the new balls into the hole. Take a brass drift and a hammer and gently tap on the ball. This will reform the seat that the ball sits in. Remove this ball and install the other new ball, spring, and threaded plug. Refill the oil tank.
Then, remove the crankcase breather line from the rear of the air cleaner. Plug the hole in the rear plate of the air cleaner. Purchase one of the small breather filters (/V-Twin #40-0352) and put it in the end of the crankcase breather hose and relocate the breather underneath the bike.

Good luck on this one. I own 2 jobmate compressors, one I bought and used very little before it blew apart and another a freind gave me to use for parts. Guess what the same part failed on both and I know of at ;east three more that also failed the same way.

I gave up trying to deal with Canadian Tire and Jobemate and junked them, as though they weren't junk to begin witn. You get what you pay for. I have a new Hausefield compressor and it is fantastic.

I purchased two Gilmour 9400 Electric Water Timers. One, I bumped with the mower and broke the "black" back part that hooks to the Water Faucet & Hose. The other, I left on too long last Fall and it froze and split. Called Gilmour Customer Service and they said they don't sell this part! The most vulnerable part and they don't stock it! Looks like we all have the same problem, any one have the parts out there?
