Question about Mitsubishi Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

The air con unit was not pumping out cold air, so a repair person came and added more gas but then told me the temperature sensor was not operating. However he could not apparently locate a part in Canberra Australia. At the moment I have to push the emergency button to get the unit to operate. Do you know where I can get these parts ? Hi Robert Pearc,
As i do not have the exact model number/Part number, i would not be able to offer you exact webpage where you can order. However, o\
Look at the back of the part. There would be a part number. Look for the part number on :-

http://www.acparts.com/

http://www.discountacparts.com/

http://www.expertappliance.com/

Most of them do even ship the part to australia.
Any further help, let me know.

IT WORKS BUT AT THE CYCLE END SUPPLY COLD AIR IS IT NORMAL?

Most air cons now have temperature sensors all over the machine. When it reaches temp on heat cycle, the machine usually shuts down both indoor and outdoor units but the indoor unit will keep running for a few minutes with the fan on only to cool the indoor unit down. This prevents the unit reading the wrong temperature. It stops the sensor(s) reading the heat from the indoor unit rather than the heat in the air in the room.

Very cold outside. The filter and operation buttons are flashing. We changed the battery in the remote. Lights continue to flash.

defrost outdoor unit, quickest way put unit onto full cooling inside and it will send hot gas to outdoor unit, once unit is clear operate as required the cause of this could be a gas issue fan motor issue.a sensor not sensing correctly and not putting unit in to defrost or infact unit is far to small for area it's serving, set temperature to a manageable temperature not all the way up to the max and see how this goes, if it persists gas charge on unit should be checked to see if there is a leak. And fan should be checked to ensure correct operation.

After I start the engine it runs fine until it warms up to operating temperature and then runs rough and produces black smoke until t dies. It will not re-start normally until it has cooled.

Bad coolant temp sensor making ECU think engine is still cold, thus running rich, as if choke is on. There are two temp sensors, one for dash gauge (one wire) and one for the ECU (two wires). You can remove it and test with voltmeter by placing unit in hot or cold water to compare readings.

Hi,My remote do not get the good temp in my house. Ex: I set to 80F in heat mode but the thermopump operate slowly and dosn't get hire than 70-72F. The remote see the unit and all. Is the sensor in th

You have a heat pump.
Once the outdoor temperature falls below 36 degrees, heat pumps will sharply lose their ability to heat.
If you are getting a 72 degree indoor temperature when the outdoor temperature is 28-30 degrees, the heat pump is performing up to spec.
On heat pumps, the air coming out of the nearest air vent to the unit should be heated approximately 40 degrees warmer than the air entering the unit.
If you have a 70 degree indoor air temperature, the heat pump should be supplying 110 degree air at the closest air vent to the indoor unit.
Gas heat is a much better heating source where outside temperatures are commonly below 36 degrees.
Even electric furnaces perform better than heat pumps under these conditions.

My 94 Toyota Camry 4 cyl is running really rough and stalling out once the engine warms up

1. Error Code 24. Intake Air Temperature Sensor.
Solution:
Check the following:
- IAT Connector and wiring.
- Intake Air Temperature Sensor.
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor.
- ECM.
2. Rough Idling when the engine is hot.
The following are the reasons due to which the engine can perform bad when it is hot.
- Fuel pump control circuit.
- Fuel pump pressure.
- Fuel injectors.
- Non Return Valve clogged, located on the lower side of car chassis above the fuel tank.
- Engine compression, valve clearance, spark plugs.

II started up my 1060 two days ago. The fanis working properly but Idon't get any cold asir. A service person rechareged the coolan but still no cold air. I have unplugged it for the time being

The service person shouldn't be recharging the refrigerant unless they have found and repaired a leak. Or do you mean an antifreeze solution that is pumped round the system? If so the service person should have checked the cooling system was working before adding coolant.

Manually set and programmed temperatures but when turned to heat only cold air...is it the compressor?

maybe or its had a gas leak so get a refrigeration mechanic there i am one but found out how much trouble refrigeration is i would go gas or wood for heating it was designed for heating where air con's are fridges with a reversing valve in them they were made to keep things cold, so if it is the compressor i would get rid of it and change to a wood or gas heater, as i said i am a refrigeration mechanic by trade but only move heat pumps to other locations to put in gas or wood or just remove the air con all together, and our clients arte always much happier with the change there also cheaper to buy and maintain than air con so i would seriously look towards getting rid of it, if it is a ducted system they can be changed for gas very easily you also want to look at other options if you went this way but seriously refrigeration is for keeping things cold to try and heat with it on adds extra value to thier sales and thats the hard truth about a hetaing device that in most cases on a very cold day is useless!!!!!

I HAVE A AN ISSUE WITH PORTABLE AC IT DOESN'T BLOW COOL AIR

dear sir

please make sure first your air con,s compressor is working if it, working and it,s not getting cold then it can be low gas problem or if compressor is not working then please check the thermostat settings and make tempreture correct and setting on cool mode
then i hope if it,s only normal problem then your air con will work again .
after that if not get cold then contact to air con technician for repair it (it,s need to repair and only air con special maintenance person can do it)

thank you

Have just installed a Fujitsu Asta 24lC air con heat pump problem

Hi Shannon,
I would pursue your fight with Fujitsu, normally their units are reliable:(
It could be a really simple problem or a really complex one ranging from many componenets. A air conditioner has many more components that people may think. Keep fighting to get the unit repaired will it is still under warranty, after that Fujitsu wont want to know you. It could also be a wiring and refrigerant fault. Call Fujitsu out again.
I take the time to answer your question, so please rate me.
Thankyou Mat
