Question about Sony KV-36XBR400 36" TV

1 Answer

We have an RCA flatscreen TV, less than 6 months old, which will come on fine, but then after a minute the picture will go completely out. The audio remains just fine. When we shut down the TV and power back up, the picture is back - for 1 more minute! Is there some timer doing this or is it more serious?

I have a 2 year old 32" rca flatscreen tv when turned on picture fine after 5 minutes picture flickers stays that way

Sounds that the fault is not with any loose solder point; but the back light inverter or the main power supply regulator board. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Hook up a sony ht ct60 to a samsung flat screen

Your sound source comes from you cable/dish box. There should be an audio out (L/R) on the back. You can take the audio off the TV from those audio outputs if you have them available. Not all the box store tvs have these.

I have no picture or sound, power light will come

I would get it fixed under warranty ASAP! not a good sign. If you open it, it will void warranty.

Tv turns on w/pic then pic dissapears light blinks 4 times

I have the same issue, we've had to change our bulb three times in less than two years. now we have 61" expensive paper weight. Our current bulb is less than 6 months old. The TV is only 2 years old and like i said this is our third bulb.

the blue light blinks 4 times. you get sound. then a few minutes the the picture returns... then it goes out, and the cycle goes on.

A solution to this would be greatly appreciated.

17 yr. old 35" RCA loses color intermittently. Picture & sound ok

Three guns Red Blue and Green in the picture tube of an old CRT set. If one of the guns goes out it effects that color. Sounds like one of the guns inside of the tube is going out, To costly to replace for such an old antilog set that will have to have a convertor box next month anyway.

These tv does have loose of audio problems im concern about looseing picture . Try unplugging tv for 5 minutes it will reset tv very common fix for audio. Tv that are less then a year old are sometimes covered under new warr call manufacture on that.
There is a microprocessor on these that lockup and when you unplug it. it resets it.

I have a tv shop and have helped customers get exchanges under a year especially if you complain

Rca truflat with green tinted picture?

Just because a machine has failed, there is no cause for you to call it a stupid TV. And as it is only 6 months old, why not take it to the Company service Centre? There must be warranty.

Audio and Video cutout

it sounds like you gonna break the unit eventually:) now seriously, when a problem can be handled by activating physical force, it is probobly related to loose conections or wiring. if you wanna fix it yourself, take it apart and start loking for those kind of things.
