SOURCE: Echo cs-341 stalls out when cutting sideways

Make sure the fuel filter is indeed attached to the fuel line in the tank and pushed down to the bottom of the tank.

SOURCE: Chainsaw starts fine, but dies mid cut?

Immediately after saw quits, while everything is still hot. Sometimes ignition modules quit working when hot.

You may need to use a jumper wire between the threaded part of the plug and the cooling fins. You don’t have to bend up the electrode.

Loosen fuel cap when it starts to die, If that fixes it it has a fuel vent problem.

If you did nothing to the carburetor adjustments, are using a fresh (3 months or less) fuel mix with the same oil/fuel ratio, and are operating at the same elevation there is a reason your saw is acting up.
It sounds as though there may be a fuel delivery problem. Check the fuel filter on the free end of a hose in fuel tank (manufacturer recommends an annual replacement). Check all fuel delivery lines especially at fittings and bends for cracks and holes. If those are good then the likely cause is internal parts of the carburetor. HTH

SOURCE: i have an echo chainsaw cs 346 it starts fine revs

Try rotating the "H" adjustment CCW a small amount.
Carburetor Adjustment by Madsens.com

CW is leaner; to lean will destroy the saw. If over tightened closed (CW) the adjustment screw faces are easily marred; marred adjustments are difficult to impossible to set properly.
Clean the air filter; adjusting with a dirty filter can cause a run lean condition once cleaned and the saw run.

There are 2 wav (sound - idle & full – may not be highlighted) files that I find most helpful, I think you will too. HTH

SOURCE: ECHO CS 3000 chainsaw-while idling, shuts off if held on an angle

The idle speed screw may be set too low--adjust so that the chain stops moving, but the engine keeps running. Drain the fuel tank and see if the filter falls to the lowest point of the tank whatever the position. If it doesn't, replace the fuel line hooked to the filter as it may have lost flexibility. Hope this helps!

The lengths of the line and,or the bends in the line . I would say the line from the bulb would go the carb since it is used to prime or,choke the carb.

How do you find and change the fuel filter on an echo cs-350wes

The filter should be hanging from a length of fuel line within the fuel tank. Drain the fuel to see it. Fish the filter out with a hooked piece of wire. If it is lying loose in the tank, then the fuel line is in trouble and should be replaced. In that case, check the condition of all of the fuel lines. Hope this helps!
