To find a replacement needle plate for your overlocker, I recommend the following steps:
Check the Manual: Refer to the manual that came with your JAMONE ezylock 103 overlocker. It might contain information about part numbers and where to order replacement parts.
Contact JAMONE Support: Reach out to JAMONE's customer support. They should be able to provide you with the correct part number and information on where to order a replacement needle plate. You can usually find their contact information on their official website.
Sewing Machine Shops: Visit local sewing machine or sewing supply shops. They often carry replacement parts for various sewing machines and overlockers. Even if they don't have the part in stock, they might be able to help you order it.
Online Retailers: Look on online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, or sewing machine parts websites. You might be able to find the replacement needle plate by searching for your specific model.
Sewing Forums and Communities: Join sewing forums or communities online and ask fellow sewing enthusiasts if they have any information about the replacement part you need. They might have suggestions on where to find it.
Remember, it's important to ensure that the replacement part you're purchasing is compatible with your specific model of overlocker. If you can, provide as much information as possible about your overlocker when contacting support or searching for the part online. This might include the exact model number, any serial numbers, and a description of the part you're looking for.
With the name and model # you can go to sears parts direct.com. I feel very confident you will find everything you need for your machine. Good Luck Friend.
Repair manuals are difficult to find as they were issued only to repair service personnel. Sometimes you can find a used manual for sale or uploaded, but it is very rare. However, sometimes if you search for the:
Make + Model + the words "parts diagram"
you may find a picture of the parts and what order they are placed in the machine.
I went to the Singer Sewing Machine site, and was able to download the parts list for your machine. Parts lists are tedious to do through, but it's the only way to insure that you get the correct part(s). Here's the direct link to download the PDF. http://parts.singerco.com/CPpartCharts/14_CG_J_SH_T/14SH644_14SH654.pdf
I often order parts through Sewing Parts Online; you will have to call them if the part is not listed as being in stock, but they're very nice about ordering for you, and they're prices are reasonable. You might also want to order the service manual from them at the same time--it's well worth it. If nothing else, it will tell you the correct order for taking the covers off, and that alone can save you a lot of grief and aggravation, as well as, of course, a lot of time.
