Hi Mark, I mailed Behringer and they sent me details of how to do it. If you mail me at I'll forward it on to you. It looks really complicated to get a stereo signal through but I just use mono signal and its simple and works really well

Hello My Harbinger APS15 has a constant clip light lit. We can't get any output from the unit and it's just a couple of months old.

Likely the power amp has shorted to one rail... DO NOT attempt to use it as it could be sending high current through the speaker causing damage. Age of the unit doesn't have much to do with it. Take it in for repair. Unless you are electronically adept and can get a schematic this is not DIY.

I have a Behringer 1202fx and I'm going to use it with a pair of Harbinger APS15. The line inputs on the APS15 are unballanced R&L RCA and XLR. The Behringer 1202fx mains are 1/4" unballanced...

Personally I would run the RCA outputs to the RCA in on the APS.
If you insist on using XLR from the APS to the board (like through a snake etc) I would higly recommend using XLR to 1/4" adapters. These things have wonderful little transformers in them (yes, wire wound transformers) that do the 1/4" to XLR conversion really nicely so that you can run your signal through the snake or just so that you don't get the hum and distortion that can be associated with unbalanced signal transfer.
You want a HI-Z unbalanced to LO-Z balanced adapter.
Not always easy to find, but if you absolutely cannot locate any, I have a couple in stock.
I suggest you look around though, because mine aren't cheap!

My harbinger aps15 speaker sounds more with bass than with words to the music. how can this problem be resolved ?

Additional, if problem is isolalted to the speaker and it acts the same with a CD player, the speaker should be serviced. It may be the crossover network, or the horn driver has failed or a simple thing like a wire coming loose.
If the problem is in the laptop, check the settings for audio in the control panel as there are settings that could have got clobbered. Video games are notorious for clobbering settings.

Yeasterday i was cleaning my room while playing the harbinger APS15 with my laptop, and all of a sudden the word weren't as loud and all i heard was more bass on the song. how can this be fixed ?

It is possible the tweeter prtion of the APS15 has failed. Try a different audio source such as a CD player to verify which part is bad, the speaker or laptop.
