Problem for Canon PIXMA MP160 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Scanner error
i have formatted my machine then installed all the driver of printer but except scanner everything is working fine
while scanning it gives the msg "cannot communicate with scanner.Cable may be disconnected or scanner may be turned off.Checked Status.Scanner driver will be closed.

if you put the installation cd in the drive and then if it autostarts close it down, then go to device manager and the properties of the scanner and update driver let pc search automatically and it should reinstall it and then all should be fine i hope , had the same problem on my all in one device
