Fuel cap light on x few wks.replaced it to no avail. Also says -200 miles+ Service B.Any ideas other than taking it to dealership?

If you hear that air rush when you remove the cap to refuel after running a little, there's nothing wrong with the cap. If you do not hear that air rush, your system is open and not sealed. You've replaced the cap to no avail, light still on because there is an air/vacuum leak somewhere in your system. It could possibly be your fill tube connection clamps or a pinhole in the fill tube hose. This simple stuff can throw the computer off and make it think something else is faulty. Something physical, not electrical that the computer is not connected to, like the fill tube, will not show as such on a readout. Remove the fuel filter and return line connection and plug them both from the tank so you can pressurize the tank wit a little air to listen for a leak. Once found re-connect the lines and repair the leak.

The best practice when replacing a cap tube is to replace it with the identical size and length of the old cap tube. Also, you must run it in the same way, if the cap tube was soldered to the suction line in any area then the replacement should also be soldered to the suction line. The old cap tube should have been stretched out, measured and gauged with a cap tube gauge. If you just went by load, it appears your cap tube is the wrong size, should be a #4 or .064ID and not a #5 .028ID. This is just based on some cap tube sizing charts I looked at assuming you have a single cap tube and not a multi circuit evap. Other than the cap tube the symptoms point to a system that was overcharged, dirty condenser, condenser fan motor not running. If you have a way to check suction and discharge pressures this will be the best way to see what is going on.

I have a jenn air jgs9900bds maytag and the display doesnt work at all it beeps but it doesnt do anything...i cant cook obviosly by this problem helpppp!!!

On something like this you have 3 components that could cause this symptom. The touch pad, display & main control board. The main control board should provide 12 volts DC to the touch pad & display boards. Test pins J1-2 to J1-1, J4-2 to J1-1 & J5-1 to J1-1 should all have 12 volts DC.

Topeak Pocket Shock pump~ can't find instructions... attempted to use but seems like I loose air..... help

When you place the pump head on the valve make sure you flip the lever, this will seal the pump and air will not come back out. Also make sure your valve is not bent or loose. If your still losing air take the pump and bike into any bike shop and they will be more than happy to show you how to use it, and bonus if there is something wrong with either the tube or pump they will be able to diagnose and provide a solution.

You have most likely obtained the wrong type of gas cap for your F150. Try using a similar gas cap from another vehicle you may own, or one of your friends. You can also try using the new gas cap on the other car to see if a similar problem occurs.
