SIM card has locked please power cycle the device and if the problem persist contact Customer Service. What does this mean?

Hold down the power button at the top of the iPad and the home button on the front bottom at the same time for 10 seconds. Then restart the iPad

Problem is Insert Sim


The device is not detecting a SIM card, it wants you to insert one.

If you already have one installed, in your device, simply remove it and clean the gold contacts on the card. Then insert it in the correct orientation.
Now install the battery and cover, power on the device and check if it is working.

If the message still persists then you will need to contact your service provider.

No network only emergency call


Hello there,

This means your Samsung phone cannot acquire any signal from your Sim/Network provider. Try to insert a different sim card and see if it acquires any signal. If it does not work, you might want to just reset the phone to Factory Defaults. To do this, just key in

*2767*3855#

The phone will reset and restart. If it turns off and doesnt start itself, turn it on. Then try inserting the sim card again.

you phone may be unlocked but the phone and sim still have to be turned on by a carrier.
where you thinking a unlocked phone means free service...

Sim unavailable contact ur service provider


Initially remove your battery and insert your sim card after cleaning the sim card and the slot.If the problem persists check any other sim card is working in your mobile if so check your sim card with other mobiles.If your sim card not works in other mobile contact the customer care of your network operator .

These are the troubleshooting and resolution steps for customers who see "Emergency Calls Only" or similar messages on their wireless phones. This message normally indicates that the customer lacks a wireless service provider/account or the device/SIM is not recognized.

  1. Power-cycle the device.
    1. Power off the phone. While the SIM card is out of the device, clean the SIM card contacts by following these additional steps:
      1. Gently wipe the SIM with a soft cloth.
      2. Clean the gold contacts on the SIM card using a pencil eraser.
      3. Carefully remove all eraser residues from the SIM card.
      4. Carefully replace the SIM card back into its cavity.
      5. Check for Liquid damage; refer to Liquid Damage Indicator (LDI) Log.
      6. Once the SIM card is secure, replace the battery and back cover and power on the phone.
  2. Place an outbound call.
  3. If the test call is successful, end the call.
  4. If the test call is not successful and it is possible, test the SIM card in another known working device.
    • To ensure accurate results, the test device must be the same technology as the device in question (UMTS, GSM, etc).
    • Ensure the test device is the same type of device (smartphone to smartphone, non-smartphone to non-smartphone).
  5. If the test call is successful with the SIM in a different phone,
  6. If the test call is not successful, the SIM needs to be replaced. Or you can call at&t so they can give you a free sim card. it depends on the situation.
