Question about ViewSonic VA703B LCD Monitor
Hi there. I have ViesSonic VA703b and I have the following problem. Everytime I start a game which has resolution from 1024x768 to 1280x720 the image is lost and it's blurry and fuzzy and it always says Auto Image Adjust. I tried to lower my resolution, but it doesn't work. I donwloaded the latest drivers for my video card and monitor and directx and still no result. For example games like World Of Warcraft, Heroes 5, Desperate Housewives , don't work and it's always the Auto Image Adjust. Please help!
These are the allowable resolutions and refresh frequencies for your monitor. 1280 x 1024 @ 60, 75 Hz 1024 x 768 @ 60, 70, 72, 75 Hz 800 x 600 @ 56, 60, 72, 75 Hz 640 x 480 @ 60, 75 Hz 720 x 400 @ 70 Hz 1280x720 is invalid but I see that you were having problems at 1024x768 which might mean the refresh timing was wrong. Make sure the monitor tab in the display properties (advanced) is correctly set with 'hide modes that this monitor cannot display' so that the display is locked to the valid frequencies and resolutions. If all else fails look at the game .ini configuration settings. You might be able to set a compatible mode there. Or run the game in a window.
