Problem with Miele CVA615 Espresso Machine Water

Problem with Miele CVA615 Espresso Machine Water coming out of the hot water dispenser all the time. They made coffee every day with no problems.. The also used the steamer with no problems.. Last week I decided to try the hot water function with dispensed hot water fine. The next time They made coffee 1/2 of the water came out as coffee and 1/2 came out through the hot water spout. When we try to use the steamer water comes out of the hot water spout also and the steam doesn't work. Although it seems to be trying. Don't know where to start any help would be appreciated! thanks

Frankly, there are things wrong that are beyond your scope, mainly because of the domino effect in small espresso machines no matter who makes them. There are multiple thermostats instead of a pressurestat, and on and on trying to replicate what a commercial machine does. In a machine like yours, the slightest failure of a gasket throws off everything. There is better containment of problems in commercial machines, but that too depends on what fails first.

My advice, if you are a home user, would be to get a manual pump machine , such as a Pavoni, (which I have lost respect for since they employed plastic pistons,) or if for a small cafe or bar, something like a semi-automatic job plumbed through a filter. Either way, in all honesty and that has cost me dearly, I warn you about this coffee business, because it is a science and an art.

It is not easy to make a good cup of coffee or espresso, especially.

Water is not dispensing

does the machine ask you to fill water? If it does check to see if the float is secure and still inside of the water dispenser. It's a small compartment inside the water dispenser that houses a float with a cap to seal it in.

I have a miele cva620 ind it displays expel air.. what shall i do? how can i do it?

FIll the water tank.

Turn the program selector to "ON with light" and place containers below the hot water dispenser and the steam nozzle.

Press the hot water button, turn the steam selector counterclockwise and let water run out until it streams steadily.

Press the hot water button again.
Turn the steam selector to "o" to shut off the water.

That should solve the problem

open the door and adjust slide for more grounds, also program prebrewing so it adds a little water to the ground to get them going before the rest of the water is pushed though.

Clogged Dispensers

Sounds like a burst water line inside, if you made sure there is water available, and you hear it pumping. Either that or a solenoid valve is not activating. Must remove unit and pull the cover to investigate.
