Question about Samsung Tocco F480 - Pay Monthly Cellular Phone

Emerency calls only!!

I have a samsung tocco and it says emerency calls only even though i have got signal can any one help me please

Hi
Sounds like you have no signal for the network your on.
Even though the phone shows signal bars, this is for a reception it has found for other networks around you. Networks allow emergency calls to be made by all mobiles regardless of network.

Has it ever worked with your sim? Does it work in other areas you travel? Does it work with another networks sim?

Another possibilty is if you have only just got the phone was it from new? If you have purchased it second hand there is a possibility that the mobiles imei is on a barring list for being reported lost or stolen? If you call your network they have a data base they can check for you. If it is listed as barred there is nothing you can do apart from take it back to where you got it from?

even though you have switched to a pre-pay ...that is a data phone and most companies don't tell you that a data plan is needed 4 the phone to operate correctly.data plans run between 19 and 50 dollars...depends on your provider..

it indicates that your signal strength is weak
Check for the signal from your service provider

Hi there, I work for Orange and these phones seem to have a fault. Are you on contract?if so, please go to your network provider and ask for an alternative. This is stated in any phone contract.

Samsung Tocco call barring problem


I think that is because of your service provider. Try with a different valid SIM card.

Brocken screen on samsung tocco phone


you can try talking to you wireless people or you can just try to send those to another phone by txt messageing. the screen is damaged but the phone isnt so you can still call and send messages.

Cannot make video calls on Samsung Tocco


Normally, your service needs to be specifically enabled to make video calls (especially if this your first 3G phone and you've just used your SIM card from your old 2G phone). If this is the case ring your providers customer service and they should be able to enable it there and then.
Also, both you and the person you're ringing have to be in a 3G service area (often more limited than the general "voice call" coverage area).

SAMSUNG TOCCO PASSWORD CODE


you can enter the hard reset code but that will delete everything on the phone the code is *2767*3855# i haven't been able to find the password reset for the F48.
The default code for the Samsung F480 is 12345678
