Re: wirless network card

Well i think obviously the network card is damaged and causing the pc to stop when checking the pci slot that the card is in. Return to the supplier as the card should light up orange or green when operating normally, and under warranty if Os has a 12 month warranty period. Assuming you haven't had a power surge, they should replace the card.

First thing to do is to re-configure the wireless router that you have. Change the name and wireless password. After that, re-install the Wireless adapter on your desktop. Make sure that you will clean all the files installed on your system. Then test if other wireless device can connect to it.

Belkin wireless g desktop card keeps disconnecting

Go into power settings and disable the option to allow windows to turn the device off in Hibernation mode. Even though the machine is not hibernating if the screen saver activates or windows doesn't detect traffic on the card for some reason windows will power down the device.
