It is asking for a SECURITY CODE WHICH I NEVER PUT ONE IN AND IT WONT LET ME DO ANYTHING . HOW DO I RESET IT?

hi, now i need to tell you something first, their is a master unlock code for nokias now this code wont work if you have entered the code wrong more than 5 times if you have done this then the phone is hard locked and can be only unlocked using leads and software by a phone shop, how ever not all phone shops will do this any more so the phone may be of no use to you.

now the code dont work on the latest nokia's due to the firmware update nokia put into their newer phones so if the code dont work you have either entered a wrong code more than 5 times or the phone is hardlocked due to firmware software.

now i have checked your imei number and have checked it is not stolen so i can now give you your master code.
when you switch the phone on and it asks for the security code you need to enter this code 7447025165
once you enter that the security code will be removed and reset to what it was when the phone was new.

if this code dont work then the phone is hard locked and can be only unlocked using leads and unlocking software.

reset up the link on the bluetooth phone. it will ask you for a new security code when you pair again. it is a code you enter. disconnect and reconnect. it will ask you for passphrase. make it easy for next time

Close all applications on your phone. (if you can)
With your phone switched ON, remove the battery.
Then remove the SIM card.
Replace the battery without the SIM card and switch your phone on.
Type in the security codes (anything) until the phone request the Master code, (in the phone lock window) when it does, leave your phone still, don’t use it for 15 minutes, then type in the Master code.
This is the code needed to reset the Security code, nothing else, and it’s for your phone only.

the defalt code for your phone is 1234 the best advice i can give you is contact motorola and speak to a tech their they have codes to unlock them there is a trick we try some times take your battery out while phone is on some times shocking it will bypass security and if works perform a master reset on the phone that will change every thing back to factory settings the defalt security code for a master reset is 000000 hopefully this will help
