SOURCE: ATWOOD MOBILE FURNACE RUNS WHEN IT WANTS/

Check your furnace for power. will be 4 wires. power ground and 2 thermostat wires. Check for power at the time delay relay, if you have power there check for power going in the fan motor, if power in motor wire, motor is bad. If no power in motor wire and power going to circuit board take the 2 thermostat wire apart and wrap the 2 together comimg from the thermostat. Fan will stat in about 30 seconds. If it does you need a control kit in the ac. But sounds to me like you have a furnace problem.

SOURCE: unit runs fine until it reaches temp and then you

Sounds like either the temp unit or sensor may need to be replaced. You should also check the resistance of your relays with a multi-meter to check that they are not causing the problem. Checking the power from power-supply would probably be a last thing to check for.

That hum making the lights dim as well I suspect sounds like compressor trying to come on. Are you sure you have a good 120volts coming in to RV?

Rheem gas furnaces, mid 90's. Not firing, yet it is blowing.

Sounds like you need a service call, you can't work on gas appliances yourself. When you turn off an appliance like this, it goes through a number of self checks and what you hear is relays clicking on and off. It goes through priming, it turns on the blower and tries to open the gas valve, then as ignition doesn't happen, the unit turns off.

2014 Heartland Fairfield 405fl (extendend stay) Suburban SF42-Q furnace Does anybody know of any Mobile RV Mechanics in San Jose Ca (Bay Area-South)? Our furnace blower fan went whacky and broke the cage....

Go to Bryantrv.com and click on the Service Manuals link. It sounds like he missed a wire hooking it back up. There are usually 3 wires, red for hot, connected to the furnace and also a small blue wire with a red stripe, another small blue wire connected to varying colors but comes from the thermostat and a ground, usually yellow. There is a relay on the fan side of the furnace and a thermal safety on the back side, under the burner. The fan gets it's power from this relay and the furnace will not run until the fan is turning. It's common for the relay to go bad but I've only had to replace on thermal fuse in the last 12 years.

Suburban rv furnace.

The best thing to do for these units is replace the ignition module, on Ebay they are cheap usually. Clean all orifices where any pressure switches or tubing connects on the induced drafts assembly, Does the pilot ever light?

Fan will come on for heat(auto), but not for AC or set to ON

You have a blower relay in the furnace that's probably bad. In the heat mode the blower is on a temperature relay, in cooling mode the blower has to come on immediately so there is another relay for cooling. The green wire on the thermostat feeds that relay, so if you go to the furnace and shut the power off and find the green wire from the thermostat that feeds that relay and replace it, being careful to mark all the wires before removing them, also the relay terminals have numbers for identification.
