The pitcher just drops onto the stand (motor) so we have to assume the couplings have become locked together. If you cannot force it to lift straight up then I would put the lid on and see it I could cause it to break free by turning it on and trying to get it off (carefully and bravely) with the motor running.

The black plastic screw on bottom of the pitcher is stuck on the base. We can't seem to get it off. Have any hints

Put the pitcher in the freezer for an hour, boil water in a pan bigger than the base of the pitcher, take the pitcher out of the freezer and stick just the base in the hot water up to the top edge of the base.. Remove it after about 15 seconds and have someone with gloves on screw the base off the pitcher

Kitchenaide blender pitcher blade assembly sticks

You need to lock the blades from turning and undo the bottom clutch drive in such a way as you do not damage it. I use an old motor clutch drive to undo them myself. It has a left hand thread and a block of wood to hold the blade. Then you can remove the blade with shaft from the brass bush to clean and lubricate it. If the brass bush has moved up in the plastic housing you need to press/bang it down again. Then reassemble. If you wreck the clutch drive on the blade you will need to buy a new blade assy if it is separate to the beaker, if not you will need a beaker and blade unit complete.
