Calculate it as log(3.3) / log(3) or ln(3.3) / ln(3.3).

### Round 0.2302 to the nearest thousandth

As you move to the right from the decimal point, the place values are:

tenths
hundredths
thousandths
tenthousandths

So what you have there is two thousand three hundred two ten thousandths. Since the rightmost digit is not five or more, you can drop that (round down) to make the value 0.230 or two hundred thirty thousandths

### Round to nearest thousand

Step 1 - identify the thousandths column - going to the right of the decimal point, we have the tenths column, the hundredths column, and the thousandths column

Step 2 - check the number immediately to the right of this column

Step 3 - if this number is 5 or more, add 1 to the thousandths column - if this number is 4 or less, don't add 1 to the thousandths column (leave it alone)

Step 4 - erase all the numbers to the right of the thousandths column.

In this case, the number in the thousandths column is 4. The number immediately to the right of it is a 0. Since the 0 is 4 or less, we don't add 1 to the thousandths column. Now we erase all numbers to the right of the thousandths column. I get 22.524.

Good luck.

### How can i round off the nearest thousands

Do you mean round off to the nearest thousandths? The thousandths place is the third place to the right of the decimal point. An example would be 0.001. In this case you have a 1 in the thousandths places which would be stated as one thousandth. To round to the nearest thousandths place you would look at the number in the ten-thousandths place and use that to determine what the number in the thousandths place should be. For example, if you have a number such as 0.1234 your answer, rounded to the nearest thousandth would be 0.123 because 4 is less than 5 and therefore you would round down. If you have a number such as 0.1235 your answer would be 0.124 because you always round up if the number in the next decimal place is 5 or higher.

I hope this helps.
