SOURCE: I think I have a bad clutch since trying to push

If the engine dies when the clutch is released, you probably have a bad seat switch. This is supposed to kill the engine if you get off the machine while the brake is off. If the seat switch is bad, the machine will behave as iff you are not 'on board', and kill the engine if it's in an 'unsafe' condition.

Apart from possible needind a new belt, if the transaxle still has gears, it's unlikely you have done any serious damage.

I need to know how to install drive belt on cub cadet that has hydro drive with diagram

That will depend on the model of your mower. Generally you have to remove the deck and deck belts. The drive belt usually goes from the engine pulley to the transaxle pulley. There may be a tensioner pulley as well that keeps the belt tight.

Drive belt diagram model 917-276051

the closest thing to a "drive" belt diagram would be in the owners manual http://www.manualslib.com/manual/487688/Craftsman-917-276051.html?page=38#manual
the horizontal (front) end would be to the pulley at the engine that the deck belt(s) are not attached to. There is a set of mid pulleys where the direction is changed from horizontal to vertical for attachment to the transaxle.

I have a Craftsman 26hp 54" blade mower and I lost the ability while riding it to go into forward and reverse. I can take it out of gear from the back and roll it. I seam to hear a slight squeeling...

It sounds like the ground drive belt is slipping, stretched badly or bound up under the mower by foreign debris/objects.According to the model, you have 2 or 3 belts on the mower. One is the ground drive belt and goes from a pulley on the bottom of the engine over the mower deck to a pulley on the rear transaxle. The other one or two belts are below it and driven off another pulley on the bottom of the engine and go to the blade deck. You will need to inspect it well. Here is a site where if you input your model number, like 917.567899....it will bring up ALL the parts and diagrams for your machine. Take a look and post back if needed.

Change Drive Belt

I just did this. You may need a second set of hands.... Remove the mower deck & back plate. Depress the clutch (this shortens the distance between the pullies.) Pull the belt slack toward rear of the tractor. Remove belt upwards from the transaxle pulley by deflecting belt keepers. Pull belt toward front of the tractor and remove downwards from around the engine pulley. Install the new belt by reversing the procedure. NOTE- there's a diagram of the procedure on page 24 of the owners manual (which I downloaded when I couldn't find my original)

Does Not drive, belt position not sure is correct, connected and tight. Engin runs and Blade turns just fine. Craftsman, 917.374511, Lawn Mower

"belt position not sure is correct," from your description above

The first thing to do would be make sure belt position is correct, connected and tight.
This system is quite simple, the belt goes in the pulley on the engine shaft and the pulley on the transaxle only, nothing else. Using a short piece of rope or anything else readily available, temporarily tie down the safety bail (handle) and engage the drive handle. Now check your belt, it should be fairly tight and you should not be able to turn the transaxle pulley without considerable effort, if it is easy to turn, replace the belt. Now release the safety bail (handle)
If the drive belt seems to be working okay as above, remove the front wheels and inspect the gear teeth in them. If the outer half of the teeth are worn down more than 1/2 the original size as compared to the inner half, replace the wheels.
While you have the wheels off, if you have a couple of blocks of wood or similar items, set one under each corner of the front of the main frame outside the arch of the blade and start the engine, engage the drive and observe the pinion gears, they should both be turning. If they are not, then you have a bad transaxle and are going to have to either replace it , use it strictly as a push mower, or replace the mower.

Serpentine belt replacement

2.0L Engines
See Figures 11, 12 and 13
The accessory drive belt for 2.0L engines has no provision for manual belt adjustment, since these engines use an automatic belt tensioner. Drive belt slack is taken up by the automatic tensioner.
Movement of the automatic tensioner assembly during engine operation is not a sign of a malfunctioning tensioner. This movement is the tensioner self-adjusting and is required to maintain constant belt tension.
The belt tensioner has a belt length indicator. If the indicator marks are not between the MIN and MAX marks, the belt must be replaced.
