Which hose, faucets and where is the hole? You may spray leak seal if the hole is small or change the hose before you get more problems

I have a hole in the hose can it be repaired

I have never heard of a good fix for a hose hole, but I have had many and if it's close to an end, cut the piece with the hole off and buy the appropriate male or femail end (attachment) and install at the end of the hose. If it's in the middle and cutting the end off would lose too much hose, cut on either side of the hole and buy/insert a special piece and install both cut ends to it.

Where can we get a part to plug the hole so the water will drain out the hose? The hole is not round so it makes it more difficult to plug. HDN 655E 65 pints Thank you. Bob

Bob, you don't need to plug the hole for the water to drain out the hose. Once you remove the hose connection cap and connect a hose, no longer than 5 feet (a garden hose will work), the water will drain from the hose and not into the bucket. That is, unless the drain tube is clogged. In which case, an 18" long, plastic, Zip Tie, appropriately sized to fit in the hole, works well to unclog it.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

How is the external tube for draining outside connected to the dehumidifier. Does the tube insert into the right angle nipple, then the threded end conected to a drain hose?

No. The tube inserts straight into the drain hole. Follow the 4 sets below.

1. Connect a garden hose to the threaded drain hose connector.
2. Remove the drain-hole cover.
3. Push hose connector tightly into the drain-hole on Rear Grille.
4. Press the hose down and make sure the "Arrow" on the tab is pointing upward.

The hose attachment will accept a standard garden hose fitting. Do not over tighten the hose when
connecting it to the hose connector, use a rubber washer and tighten by hand firmly without stripping the plastic threads. Be sure the hose lays flat and has no kinks, as it will not drain properly.

I have a little hole in the water hose in the back of my fridge. When you go to get water or the fridge fills with water to make ice the the hose sprays water from the hole in the hose. Is there a repair...

You need a new hose, as yours is worn out from age. Hardware stores usually have tubing for such repairs. Turn off the water supply, unclamp the hose from both ends. Take the dead hose to the hardware store to match it up. Get two new clamps, too. Then replace the hose. A fairly easy job.

Is there an easier way to install the fuelline on my chainsaw?

It realy depends on what mahine it is and wheather it has a moulded hose or a straight hose, and what diameter the hose is, i have made a simple tool for straight hoses from a thin strand of piano wire, sharpen the end to a point, bent the end ( approx 2 mm ) over and back on itself tightly 180 degrees, make sure it is as tight as possible, connect a handle to the other end, now insert the hooked end through the fuel pipe hole in the top of the tank and out through the fuel filler hole, now connect the fuel hose onto the hook, pull it so the sharpened end makes a hole in the tube, now pull the wire back through, and with a bit of practice the hose should pull through, do not forget the trim the end of the hose where the hole was made.

I have holes in my power steering hose

These hoses are starting to dry rot which is causing the small "holes". They're easy enough to replace so go ahead and swap them out.

My he2 leaks where the hose connects to the back of the tub. There is actually a hole where in the piece where the hose connects to. The hose will not cover this hole when shoved on all the way.

It was actually the overflow tube that was the problem. I plugged the hole using a small bolt and nut with a neoprene washer sandwiched on either side of the hole.

Drain hose attachment

Checkout this website...they have an owners manual you can download: A little hard to find, but it's there. In short, there is a small hole in the back of the dehumidifier between the cord handles. There will be a cap held in place over the hole by three small connectors. With some pliers, remove the hole cover. Take your hose connector and place it in the hole until it won't go any further (you can feel it hit the front of the water bucket). The instructions will show pressing the tab of your hose connector into the bottom of the hole to hold it in place. Don't know about yours, but mine is too long to do that. Connect a short length of garden hose to the threaded end of the connector and you've got it. Instructions say hose has to be flat leading straight from the dehumidifier to a drain, so don't place the draining end of the hose up in a sink or anything, use a floor drain. Hope this helps!
