Question about Computers & Internet
This thing happens when you delete the folder in which your files for the program are stored.
or in case you delete the uninstall.exe file.
the program has already been removed from your hard disk, what remains is just the entry in windows registry.
when you uninstall a program, the registry entry is also deleted, so its recommended to always uninstall the program rather simply deleting the program folder.
Nevermind, in your case you can delete the program folder in case you still have it, and the windows entry can be fixed by any registry fixing software like 'Advance System Optimizer'

Testimonial: "Thanks. I thought I will have to do that. What is strange is that I did not delete the folder or uninstall.exe file therefor the reason for my question. I loaded Belkin on another PC and now checked if the uninstall.exe file is there. It is not. Only uninstall.ico. I used the Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter CD.One I loaded on Windows 7 and the other on Windows XP Proffesional."
